William Michelet Scholarship

This $1,000 scholarship is awarded in honor of the late William "Bill" Michelet, LSU professor, PRAL founder, and an accomplished public relations practitioner who believed in giving something back to the community through his profession. It is awarded annually to a student studying public relations who has demonstrated proficiency in the field of public relations with a strong commitment to community involvement.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a full-time undergraduate majoring in public relations or journalism, or working toward a degree with emphasis in public relations.
  • Must be enrolled in a college located in Louisiana.
  • Must be a junior, senior or graduate student in the 2015-2016 school year.
  • Applications for 2016 should be submitted by April 8, 2016.
