PRAL/PRSA Baton Rouge Partnership

Since January 2018, the Baton Rouge chapter of the Public Relations Society of America has partnered with the Baton Rouge chapter of the Public Relations Association of Louisiana (PRAL) for monthly member education, networking, and professional development opportunities. The partnership means that PRAL Baton Rouge serves as the de facto local chapter for PRSA’s Baton Rouge chapter.

The 2017 PRSA Board of Directors formalized this partnership with PRAL BR, recognizing that our chapter will benefit from the existing PRAL infrastructure as well as PRAL’s robust membership. Through this partnership, the local chapter component of the national PRSA dues that you pay each year will also pay your annual dues to PRAL. Every January, all PRSA members who are current on their PRSA dues will be made members of PRAL … at no additional cost.

As a member of both PRSA and PRAL, you will receive all notices of all meetings and get-togethers that include all local communication professionals who are a member of either organization, along with the related member discounts. You should receive PRAL BR login credentials within three months of paying your PRSA BR annual dues. If you are already a PRAL BR member, please contact us so that we may apply any credit for previously paid dues appropriately.

Your PRSA BR Board believes this partnership offers added value to PRSA members, and better allows PRSA to provide a full calendar of local events. If you have any questions or concerns related to your membership, please contact a current board member listed below.
